Otterness, Tom, NA 1994

Tom Otterness (b. 1952, Kansas) is an American sculptor known for his large scale public works. His public commissions include works in Yonkers, NY; Silver Towers Playground, New York; Hunterdon Museum of Art, New Jersey; University of Florida at Gainesville; New York Botanical Gardens; Montefiore Childrens Hospital, New York; and Hilton Hotel at Times Square. His works are also in collections at the Museum of Modern Art, New York; Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; Guggenheim Museum, New York; Eli Broad Foundation, Los Angeles; Miami Art Museum, Florida; Delaware Art Museum; Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh; Miyagi Museum of Art, Japan; and Museo Tamayo, Mexico City, among others.
