How to Register

To register online for a classes and workshops, click here to create an online account. Once you have created an account, you may log in to your account to complete a registration form online. You may also click here to download a form, and pre-printed forms are available at the School office and can be returned by fax or mail. Students may also register by phone, fax, or in-person using a check, money order or a credit card only. New students are required to pay a nonrefundable, one time only registration fee of $50.00 in order to register for classes and workshops. Registrations are nontransferable to a second party.

When to Register

Students may register for any quarter at any time throughout the year starting August 29th for current students and August 31st for new students. Registration may be extended if a class has reached minimum required capacity and the maximum registration allowance has not been met. Students who register any time after the start of a class must pay the full tuition. No pro-rating is permitted. Classes may be cancelled if minimum registration requirements are not met. Tuition for all classes and workshops is listed with the class/workshop descriptions. Students who register for the same class for 2 quarters receive a 5% discount; students who register for the same class for 4 quarters (1 year) also receive a 10% discount.

Payment

Tuition must be paid in full. The National Academy School accepts payment by check, money order, or credit card. The School does not accept cash. Returned checks will incur a $30.00 fee. Students using a credit card to register by telephone, fax, or mail will be charged a nonrefundable $6.00 service fee. Checks drawn on foreign banks will not be accepted.

Refund Policy

To receive a 100% refund, students must notify the school office seven business days prior to the start date of the class. Refunds are made in the same form as payment. Money order and check payments are refunded by check within thirty days. There is a $15.00 administrative fee for each refund. Any refunds requested during the first week of classes and before the second class will receive a 75% refund applied to School Credit Only.

Transfer Policy for Classes

All transfers must occur before the second class. Transfers from one class into another may incur additional fees depending on the transfer. There is a $15.00 administrative fee for each transfer.

Refunds and Transfer Policy for Workshops

Request for refund or transfer from a workshop must be made fourteen business days prior to the beginning of the workshop. No refunds will be made after this deadline, unless there is a documented medical excuse. There is a $15.00 administrative fee for each transfer or refund.

Admission Requirements

Previous experience is not a prerequisite for most classes. Unless otherwise noted, students may enroll in any class of their choosing. Students may request guidance in the selection of courses by contacting the school office or an instructor.

Foreign Students

The National Academy School of Fine Arts is authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students. For information about the requirements for admission, please contact the school office.

Veterans

Veterans and family members of the Armed Services of the United States are approved for training at the National Academy School of Fine Arts. To enquire about this opportunity, contact the school office.
