Student exhibitions are held in the school throughout the year. Works by faculty members are exhibited throughout the year and help prospective students in class selection.

The National Academy School Diploma Program is a self-directed, atelier-style learning experience designed for the serious art student to support their personal creative journey. Broad-based curriculum offerings include drawing, painting, sculpture and printmaking with a focus on mastering technique and developing professional studio practices.

The exhibition From Inspiration to Transformation: Art from Africa and Works of Contemporary Art showcases new art projects from National Academy School students inspired by traditional African tribal objects. The objects on display were created by various tribes in central west, central east and south east Africa.

Sonia Gechtoff: The Artist as Inspiration

Works by Sonia Gechtoff, NA, and her class monitors reveal her inspiration as a teacher, artist and mentor. National Academy students include Marjori Abramson, Jacqueline Belcher, Stephanie Terelak, Ruth Carlucci, Thea Cohen, Debbra Ellison, Margaret Kennedy and Hiromi Nomurajima.

2011 Fall Opening Student Exhibition

The National Academy School invited all students who were enrolled in a class during the 2010 - 2011 academic-year to submit works of art to the Fall Opening Student Exhibition. The Faculty Committee, consisting of Kathy Caraccio, Maurizio Pellegrin and Sharon Sprung, selected one work from each student.

From December 9 – 22nd, 175 pieces of art work were exhibited at the 2010 Mid-Year Student Art Show. The art work represented student work from 40 different classes in the School. Work exhibited included painting, drawing, prints, sculpture and mixed-media.
