Summer Programs for Young Artists.
Foster your child’s creativity and critical thinking skills, while inspiring their spirit of collaboration and discovery. The National Academy offers engaging, challenging experiences in the creative environment of our historic Fifth Avenue home. Young Artists also take advantage of the artistic canvas that is Central Park.
During the National Academy’s weekly art programs, young artists explore a wide range of styles, tools, materials and techniques in a supportive and enjoyable environment. Structured projects support the freedom of independent expression while careful attention and guidance is given to the individual needs of each camper. Students are taught and mentored by professionals experienced in working with all ages and skill levels. Every student can submit work to the Annual Young Artists Exhibition at the end of the summer.
One week sessions will run from June 5th to August 4th. Students may register for multiple sessions.
Each session fee is $730, not including materials. Material lists can be found under each course description below.
Young Artists will eat lunch together as a group; please bring a nut-free lunch and drink which do not require refrigeration.
Health & Safety Forms must be filled out and handed in before the first day. Download the forms here. Please send the forms to the Manager of Young Artist Education, Dolores Zorreguieta: email@example.com
