Daniel Atyim Mr. Atyim received a BFA from Otis College of Art and Design, Los Angeles and an MFA in Painting from Syracuse University. He has taught painting, drawing and watercolor at Syracuse University and at Salesian High School, Los Angeles. He was a visiting artists lecturer at Cazenovia College, Cazenovia, NY. A recipient of a special grant from the New York Foundation of the Arts he has also received many awards, including the Everson Biennial Best in Show, the Dorothy Shaffer Award, and the George Vandersluis Award two years in a row. He was a resident at the Hungarian Multicultural Center Artists Residency Program in 2001, Balatonfurod, Hungary. His solo exhibitions include the Everson Museum, Syracuse, NY; the Delavan Center, Syracuse, NY, and Parks Gallery, Taos, NM. He has also participated in many group shows across the country.
