William Behnken, NA
William Behnken, studied at the High School of Music and Art and at The City College of New York. He is currently an instructor at The Art Students League, and at The City College of
New York and has also taught at the C.W. Post College and the Bronx Community College. He has taught and lectured widely at institutions including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the National Academy.
He is a past president of the Society of American Graphic Artists and a member of the Boston Printmakers. His work is represented in many collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art; the New York Public Library Print Room; the British Museum; the Brooklyn Museum of Art; Bowdoin College, ME, and the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Mr. Behnken is represented by The Old Print Shop Gallery,
New York City.
