Peter Cox, NA


Peter Cox, NA, received his art education at the New York-Phoenix School of Design, the Parsons School and the Arts Students League in New York. From 1982-1984 he was vice-president of the Artists Fellowship and is a member of the Audubon Artists, Allied Artists, and the Pastel Society of America. He is presently serving as the first vice-president of the National Arts Club.

Mr. Cox's solo exhibitions include MBModern, NY; Joseph Keiffer, Inc., NY; Carolyn Hill Gallery, NY; Louis Newman Gallery, Beverly Hills, CA and group exhibitions with Babcock Gallery, NY; Allan Stone Gallery, NY; In Collaboration Gallery, Santa Monica, CA among others. His work is in private and public collections nationwide.

Mr. Cox has been granted numerous awards including Gold Medals from the National Arts Club in 1978, 1987, and 1997. He has also received awards from the Pastel Society of America in 1984 and 1987. A member of the National Academy of Design, Mr. Cox was the recipient of a Certificate of Merit at the 1988 Annual Exhibition.
