Ellen Eagle


Ellen Eagle was born in New York City. She studied at the National Academy School of Fine Arts and the Art Students League, receiving a BFA from California College of Arts and Crafts. Solo exhibitions include Lyme Academy; Concordia College Gallery, Bronxville, New York, and the Forum Gallery New York, where she is represented. She has participated in group exhibitions at numerous galleries and museums, including The Everhart Museum, Scranton, PA; the Frye Art Museum, Seattle, WA; The Butler Institute, Youngstown, OH; several juried annual exhibitions at the National Academy; Seraphin Gallery, Philadelphia, PA; the National Pastel Society of America, among many others.

She has won many awards including Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Award, Edward Mooney Traveling Scholarship Award, John Young Hunter Memorial Award, among many others. Her work is included in many private and corporate collections.
