Roy Fowler Born in Santa Barbara, California, Mr. Fowler received a BFA from the College of Creative Studies, University California, Santa Barbara. He has taught at the School of Visual Arts, Rhode Island School of Design and the College of Creative Studies, Santa Barbara. He has been a visiting artist at the University of Georgia, Athens, GA, The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN and Universidad de Bellas Artes, Cuenca, Spain. He has had solo shows in New York at the Anne Plumb Gallery, Art Resources Transfer, Inc. and the Cheryl Pelavin Gallery, and participated in many group shows nationwide. He is the recipient of the following awards, Artist's Space, the Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation, Inc.; the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Inc.; and New York Arts Recovery Fund.
