Kamilla Talbot

Talbot studied at the Rhode Island School of Design, the International School of Art in Italy, and the New York Studio School. She returned to the Studio School in 2003 as an instructor and began teaching at the National Academy School of Fine Arts in 2004.

 

She has exhibited watercolors and oil paintings at various galleries in New York, including Kouros Gallery, Gallery North, the Painting Center, and the Bowery Gallery. She has also exhibited at the Baltimore Museum of Art, MD., and the Washington Art Association, CT. In 2002 she had a solo exhibition at the Johannes Larsen Museum in Denmark. Her work is in the collections of the Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, NY and the Johannes Larsen Museum in Denmark.

 

Talbot has had several artist residencies, including the Vermont Studio Center, I-Park, CT and the World Trade Center Studioscapes Residency, NY.
