Arthur Kvarnstrom


Watercolor instructor, Arthur Kvarnstrom, graduated with a BFA from the University of Arizona, Phoenix, AZ., and an MFA from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio. He has taught at the Women's Studio Center in Long Island City and at the Stein Senior Center in New York, and won a teaching assistantship at Kent State University. Mr. Kvarnstrom also received a Residency at the Vermont Studio Center in 1995, and a Heliker-LaHotran Foundation residence on Great Cranberry Island, Maine in 2006.

His selected solo exhibitions include the Prince Street , Kingsborough Community College, Brooklyn, NY, Romano Gallery, Blair Academy,. Blairstown, NJ, the Nelson Fine Arts Gallery, Lexington, VA, The Art Lab, Staten Island, NY, Brodsky Gallery, EDS, Princeton, NJ, and the Art Gallery at Six Deering Street, Portland, Maine.
