Nicki Orbach


Nicki Orbach received her BA from Hunter College, and a MFA from Pratt Institute. She also studied at The Art Students League and earned a Certificate for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts at the New York Academy of Art where she was a teaching assistant to Salvator Montano. Her focus on anatomical studies was started at Pratt where, as an anatomical associate, she performed dissections at a leading medical school. She also teaches life drawing classes at The Art Students League.

Ms. Orbach has appeared in group shows at Salander-O'Reilly Gallery, NY; Exit Art, NY, and the Anthropology Museum of the People of New York. She has also exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts, NM; Artists Space Gallery, NY, and the Montclair Art Museum, NJ where she published Anatomy in Art sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts. Her work can be found in private collections across the country.
