Alicia Rothman
Ms. Rothman received a BA from SUNY Binghamton and an MFA from Indiana University, Bloomington where she was also an Associate Instructor of Design. She has had one person exhibitions at the Dillon Gallery, Oyster Bay, NY and participated in group exhibitions at the Butler Institute of American Art, Youngstown, OH, The Muscarelle Museum of Art, Williamsburg,, VA, The National Academy Museum 161st Juried Exhibition, among others. Her work is in many private, public and corporate collections including the Muscarelle Museum of Art, College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, VA, Prudential Bache Securities, Inc. and The White House.
Ms. Rothman was the recipient in 1980 of a Ford Foundation Grant and in 1986 was awarded a Certificate of Merit at the National Academy Museum Juried Exhibition. She also received a commission in April of 2002 to design a White House Easter display representing New York State. The following year she received a commission to design the Hampton Classic Poster.
