Born in Milwaukee, WI, 1937, David Becker studied at the Layton School of Art, Milwaukee, WI, earned a BS at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and an MFA from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Mr. Becker lives and works in Mount Horeb, WI, and is represented by Ann Nathan Gallery, Chicago, IL.

One-person exhibitions include the Davidson Galleries, Seattle; and the Jane Haslem Gallery, Washington, DC. His work is included in recent group exhibitions like Art Chicago 2002, Ann Nathan Gallery, Navy Pier, Chicago; several Outsider Art Fairs, Ann Nathan Gallery, New York; Fantastic Art, Orange Regional Gallery, Australia; Bharat Bhavan International Print Biennale, Bhopal, India; Intergrafik, Berlin; 9th British International Print Biennale, Bradford, England; American Biennales of Graphic Arts, Museo de Arte Moderne, Cali, Colombia; and 30 Years of American Printmaking, Brooklyn Museum of Art.
