GLENN R. BRADSHAW, NA

Born in Peoria, IL, 1922, watercolorist Glenn R. Bradshaw earned a BS at Illinois State University and an MFA at the University of Illinois. He is Professor Emeritus at the University of Illinois and continues to teach each year at the Springmaid Painting Workshops, Myrtle Beach. He lives and works in McNaughton, WI and is represented by Arline Fleischer, Vienna, VA. Recent exhibitions include the Watercolor Honor Society; Spratt-Burroughs Gallery, York, SC; Huntsville Museum, AL; "300 Years of Watercolor in America," Metropolitan Museum of Art; "Watercolor by ROC, USA & Australia, Taiwan; and the Springfield Museum of Art, MO. His work is included in the collections of the San Diego Museum of Art; Butler Institute of American Art; State of Illinois Collection; Leroy Springs Collection; Springfield Museum of Art; and The Hollister Collection. He is the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Watercolor USA Honor Society; and has received numerous awards from the National Academy.
