Born in Hershey, PA, 1920, painter Sideo Fromboluti studied at the Tyler School of Fine Arts and belonged to the Sketch Club of Philadelphia for a number of years. He lives and works in New York City and is represented by the DartheaSpeyer Gallery, Paris, PHI Center of Arts, Naples, FL, and the Cherry Stone Gallery, Provincetown, MA. Recent exhibitions include the Carnegie Institute; Provincetown Art Museum; Darthea Speyer Gallery, Paris, France; New York Studio School; Philharmonic Museum, Naples, FL; and the Cherry Stone Gallery, MA. His work is included in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art; Corcoran Gallery of Art; Cincinnati Museum of Art; Pennsylvania Museum; Shah's Palace, Iran; Mitsubishi Corp.; Johnson & Johnson Co.; Carnegie Institute; and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. He has executed two murals for the Hyatt Hotel, Paris, France. He is the recipient of several awards from the National Academy.
