Born in Elizabeth, NJ, 1940, Nancy Hagin received a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University and an MFA from Yale University. She lives and works in New York City and is represented by the Fischbach Gallery, New York.

Recent one-person exhibitions include Alpha Gallery, Boston; numerous shows at Fischbach Gallery, New York; Williams Center for the Arts, Lafayette College, PA; Hewlett Gallery, Carnegie Mellon University; and the Terry Dintenfass Gallery, New York. She is the recipient of a Fulbright Grant to Rome; CAPS Grant; NEA Grant; MacDowell Colony Fellowships; America the Beautiful Fund, Artist Residency; and the Emil & Dines Carlsen Award, National Academy of Design Annual.
