JONAH KINIGSTEIN, NA NA 1997 Born in New York, NY, 1923, painter Jonah Kinigstein studied at Cooper Union, NY, and with Ossip Zadkine, and Andre L'Hote, La Grand Chaumiere, Paris, and the Belles Artes, Rome, Italy. He has taught at the Brooklyn Museum School and the National Academy School of Fine Art. He lives and works in Brooklyn, NY, and is represented by Les Impression d'Art, Paris, France, and the Alan Gallery, NY. Recent exhibitions include Pindar Gallery, NY; Les Impressions D'Art, Paris; Salon d'Automn, Paris; Salon de Mai, Paris; Corcoran Gallery of Art; National Academy Museum; and the Alan Gallery, NY.
