Born in Minneapolis, MN, 1939, sculptor Tuck Langland studied at the University of Minnesota. He has taught at Carlisle College of Art, Sheffield College of Art, and North Staffordshire Polytechnic, England, and Indiana University, South Bend. He lives and works in Granger, IN. Recent exhibitions include the Midwest Museum of American Art, IN; Indiana University, South Bend; Six Masters, Brookgreen Gardens, SC; several recent shows at the National Sculpture Society, NY; Hoosier Salon; and the Schedel Arboretum and Gardens, OH. His work is included in the collections of the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum; British Museum, London; Olympic Museum, SWZ; Numismatic Society Museum, NY; National Sculpture Society; National Academy Museum; Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park, MI. He is the recipient of a Kenan Master Sculptor, Brookgreen Gardens, SC; Pollich Prize, National Sculpture Society; Hoosier Salon Show Award; and a United States Information Agency Grant.
