Born in New York, NY, 1945, graphic artist Martin Levine earned a BS at State University College, Buffalo, NY, and an MFA California College of Arts & Crafts. He lives and works in Stony Brook, NY, and is represented by The Old Print Shop, NY. Recent exhibitions include the Museum of the City of New York; 4th British International Print Exhibition; International Triennale, Brazil; International Triennale, Yugoslavia; International Triennale, Taiwan; Triennale International, Germany; International Triennale, Poland; and the Agart World Print, Slovenia. His work is included in the collections of the Art Institute of Chicago; Brooklyn Museum of Art; New York Public Library; Milwaukee Art Center; Smithsonian Museum of Modern Art; Library of Congress; Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. He is the recipient of the New York Foundation for the Arts Grant; National Endowment for the Arts Printmaking Grant; and over one-hundred national and international printmaking awards.
