Painter Bernard Olshan lives and works in New York City and studied at the American Artist School, NY, Ozenfant School of Art, and the Academie de la Grand Chaumiere, Paris. He has taught at the Craft Students League, New Yrok City Community College, and currently teaches at the National Academy School of Fine Arts. His recent exhibitions include the Dallas Museum of Art; University of Miami; Lehman College; Ward Eggleston Galleries, NY; Bronx Museum of the Arts; Mountain Top Gallery; Windham Gallery; Ward Eggleston Gallery; New York Community College; and the Whitney Museum of American Art. He is the recipient of a mural commission for Theodore Roosevelt High School; Emily Lowe Award, Phillips Award, and the Andrew Carnegie Prize, National Academy; and was Artist-in-Residence at PS 95, Bronx.
