Born in New York City, 1928, painter Paul Resika studied with Sol Wilson, NA, and Hans Hofmann. He lives and works in New York City and is represented by the Salander-O'Reilly Galleries, NY. Recent exhibitions include Salander-O'Reilly Galleries; Meredith Long & Co., TX; Berta Walker Gallery, RI: Gallery Camino Real, Boca Raton, FL; Vered Gallery, East Hampton; Hackett-Freedman Gallery, San Francisco; Galleria Metta, Madrid, Spain; Alpha Gallery, Boston; and Lori Bookstein Gallery, NY. He is the recipient of several Benjamin Altman Prizes and the Obrig Prize, National Academy; American Academy of Arts & Letters award; Louis Comfort Tiffany Grant; Ingramm Merrill Grant; and a Guggenheim Fellowship.
