Born in Gothenburg, Sweden, 1945, sculptor Kent Ullberg studied at the Konstfack School of Art, Stockholm, Sweden. He lives and works in Corpus Christi, TX ,and Loveland, CO, and is represented by the C.C. Art Connection. Recent exhibitions include a retrospective national tour; Joslyn Museum of Art, NE; National Geographic, DC; Prix de West, OK; National Sculpture Society; Wildlife Art for a New Century; and the Southern Texas Institute for the Arts, TX. His work is included in the collections of the Anadarko Petroleum Corp., TX; Gilcrease Museum; Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum; Annheuser-Busch Inc, MO; Telia, Sweden; Academy of Natural Sciences, PA; City of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and H.R.H. Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands Collection. He is the recipient of a Gold Medal, National Sculpture Society; numerous awards from the Society of Animal Artists; National Arts Club Award; National Academy of Western Art awards; and the Ellin P. Speyer Prize for Sculpture, National Academy.
