JOSEPH ZIRKER, NA ANA 1992; NA 1994 Born in Los Angeles, CA, 1924, painter Joseph Zirker studied at the University of California, Los Angeles, University of Denver, and the University of Southern California. He lives and works in Menlo Park, CA, and is represented by Smith Anderson Editions. Recent exhibitions include Smith Andersen Editions; the de Saisset Museum, University of Santa Clara; Nevada Museum of Art; and the International Print Center, NY. His work is included in the collections of the Tamarind Archives; Brooklyn Museum of Art; Achenbach Foundation; Oakland Art Museum; de Saisset Museum; and the Stanford University Museum of art. He is the recipient of a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant.
