Watercolor from Life

Making watercolors from observation, we will turn our perception into images. Students will work from the still life, from the model, and  from the landscape of Central Park. Formal  elements of painting such as composition, tone, and color will be pursued, while maintaining  an appreciation for the immediacy and fluidity of watercolor. Individual attention and group  critiques will help each student develop their own voice. All levels are welcome, although prior drawing experience is helpful. MATERIALS LIST
