Experience this collection of paintings & drawings of Other Worlds, composed through the unique lens of each artists’ personal interpretations of their external environments.
Glenn Goldberg, NA (b. 1953, Bronx, NY) studied at the New York Studio School in 1977-78, and received an MFA from Queens College. He was named the 1996 Heilman Artist, received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Joan Mitchell Foundation, and the Edward Albee Foundation. He is a Guggenheim Foundation Fellow, a member of the National Academy of Design, and has also received various other grants and accolades. Goldberg’s work is in numerous public collections, including but not limited to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the National Gallery of Art (Washington, D.C.), the Museum of Contemporary Art (Los Angeles), J.P Morgan Chase Art Collection (New York), and the Fine Arts Museum (San Francisco).
Glenn Goldberg has been in one hundred fifty-five group exhibitions and also has had an sixty solo exhibitions. This upcoming pop-up show, “Other Worlds,” will be added to Glenn’s history of consistent public participation.The artist is an inspiration to both his peers and a vast number of younger artists.
